The Government of Telangana has officially announced the Sankranti holidays for all government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and residential junior colleges across the state.

The holidays will be observed from January 11, 2025, to January 16, 2025 (inclusive of both dates). Classes will resume on January 17, 2025 (Friday). This directive applies to institutions including TG Residential, TG Social Welfare Residential, TG Tribal Welfare Residential, TG Model Schools, TG BC Welfare, TMRJC, KGBV, and composite degree colleges offering two-year intermediate courses.

Principals and management are instructed to strictly adhere to the holiday schedule. Any violation, such as conducting classes during the holiday period, will be taken seriously, with disciplinary actions including disaffiliation against erring managements or principals.
