On Thursday, a Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud, along with Justices J.B. Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, heard petitions alleging irregularities in the NEET UG exam. The Court subsequently ordered the NTA to release the results categorized by cities and centers. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of maintaining student privacy by masking identifying details.

The Solicitor General expressed concern that releasing city and center-specific results could expose students' personal information. Chief Justice Chandrachud countered by suggesting the use of dummy roll numbers categorized by exam centers, ensuring anonymity while fulfilling the Court's order.
