From Constable to UPSC Civil Service: Civils 2023 Ranker Uday Krishna Reddy's Inspiring Journey!

Uday Krishna Reddy's story is one of remarkable triumph over adversity. Despite losing both parents at a young age and being raised by his grandmother in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, Uday never let go of his dreams. His dedication and perseverance ultimately led him to crack the prestigious Civil Services Exam, securing a commendable 780th rank.

Started career as a police constable

He initially started his career as a police constable in 2013. However, in 2018, an unfortunate incident involving an unfair reprimand by a superior officer ignited a fire within him. This setback became the catalyst for Uday to chase his true ambition – a career in the Indian Civil Services.

While his initial attempts proved challenging, he refused to be discouraged. With each attempt, his focus sharpened. Finally, in his fourth try, Uday's hard work and determination paid off, securing him AIR  780 in the Civil Services.

While his ultimate goal remains to become an IAS officer, Uday's adaptability is another facet of his success story. He expects the IRS position for his rank in the Civil Services Exam.
