Big Breaking: Changes in Intermediate Examinations | 1st Year Exams to Be Removed?

Andhra Pradesh: The state government has decided to bring significant changes to the Intermediate Examination system. Check Below the details.

The Inter Board Secretary Kritika Shukla has announced that the Inter First Year exams will be removed. The board will only conduct the Inter Second Year exams. She said that suggestions and feedback from students and parents will be accepted until January 26th. It was also announced that the NCERT syllabus will be introduced in science subjects in Inter from the 2025-26 academic year.

"There have been no reforms in Intermediate education for many years. We are implementing changes in line with the National Curriculum Framework. As part of these reforms, we will remove the first year of Intermediate public exams. Instead, individual colleges will conduct internal exams for first-year students. The Board will only conduct exams for the second year of Intermediate," said Kritika Shukla.

The Environmental Education Examination will take place on February 3, 2025 (Monday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

3.Practical Examinations (General Courses)
The Practical Examinations for General Courses will be held from February 10–20, 2025, with exam timings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily, including Sundays.

4.Practical Examinations (Vocational Courses)
The Practical Examinations for Vocational Courses will take place from February 5–20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily, including Sundays.

5.Samagra Shiksha Vocational Trade Examination (NSQF Level-4)
The Samagra Shiksha Vocational Trade Examination (NSQF Level-4) is scheduled for February 22, 2025 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
