At just 22 years old, he not only completed one of India's most challenging courses, Chartered Accountancy (CA), but also secured the top rank nationwide. Here's his inspiring success story in his own words:

From Rajasthan to Palamaner

"Our family originally hails from Rajasthan but settled in Palamaner, Chittoor district, due to my father Rajesh Oswal’s business in gold and finance. I completed my schooling at Emmaus Swiss School in Palamaner, scoring 97.5% in my ICSE Class 10 exams in 2018. I then joined Masterminds Academy in Guntur to pursue the CA course and passed my Intermediate with 96.8% in 2020."

Stepping Into CA

"After completing my Intermediate in 2020, I enrolled in the CA course. In 2021, I secured All India Rank 8 in the CA Intermediate exams. Following that, I completed my articleship with the prestigious consulting firm KPMG while simultaneously preparing for my CA Final exams. I appeared for the exams in November and was ecstatic to be ranked first in the country in the recently announced results."

A CMA Milestone Before CA

"Before starting my CA journey, I pursued Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA). In 2020, I topped the CMA Foundation exams at the national level, followed by All India Rank 1 in the CMA Intermediate in 2021. However, my ultimate goal was always CA, so I dedicated myself entirely to it from 2021 onwards."

Chartered Accountant Dream in Grade 5

"My dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant started in Grade 5. My uncle, who works as a CA in Motilal Oswal, inspired me with the recognition and respect he earned. His achievements motivated me to set CA as my career goal."

Daily Planning: The Key to Success

"I studied for around 10 hours daily during my preparation. In the last month before the exams, I pushed it to 12 hours, and in the final 15 days, I studied for 14–15 hours a day. Reading institute material and taking practice tests greatly contributed to my success."

Balancing Articleship and Preparation

"Articleship is a mandatory part of the CA course but finding time to prepare while working was challenging. Working at KPMG involved significant responsibilities, but as the exams approached, my manager allowed me to focus on my studies, which was immensely helpful."

Managing Stress

"Stress is natural during CA preparation, but it’s important not to let it overwhelm you. I spent time talking to my sister and friends, which helped me relax. My sister, in particular, was my moral support during tough times."

Advice for Aspiring CAs

"My advice to CA aspirants is to start planning for success from day one. Many begin serious preparation just months before the exams, leading to stress and suboptimal results. With consistent effort over the 2.5 years, the future will undoubtedly be bright. Utilize every available moment to study, even during articleship."

Sakshi Spell Bee Winner

"I actively participated in extracurricular activities during school. In 2016, I reached the finals of the Sakshi Spell Bee and won a medal. I also secured second place in the VIT Spell Bee competition."

Career Aspirations

"I aspire to work in private equity or consulting firms initially. In the future, I want to contribute to society by pursuing civil services. My father encourages me to take steps toward this goal, and I plan to follow through."
