UPSC Civil Services New Rules 2025: Mandatory Certificate Submission for Applicants

As per the new regulations, candidates applying for UPSC Civil Services must now submit essential documents related to age, reservation category, and other qualifications during the application process itself. Failure to provide these documents will result in the cancellation of the application.

Documents Required
According to the updated rules, candidates must upload the following documents at the time of application:
- Proof of Birth Date: Valid birth certificate or equivalent proof.
- Category Certificate: Applicable for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, Divyang (PwD), or Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- Educational Qualifications: Certificates verifying eligibility criteria.
- Service Preference Details: Clear preferences for services applied for.
