Another IT giant, HCL Technologies, has launched the First Careers program. The program is designed to enable degree candidates to pursue a career in the IT sector. HCL has launched this program called 'First Careers' to help graduates looking for a career in IT to become fully professional IT engineers. The HCL First Careers program will be offered by HCL Training and Staffing Services (HCL TSS), a subsidiary of the company.
Qualifications
- BE / BTech / MCA / MTech / MSc (IT) / BSc (IT, Computer Science / Bachelor of Vocational) (CS / IT / Software Development) / BCA candidates are eligible to apply for the HCL First Careers Program.
- Should achieve over 65% marks in Inter, Graduation and Post Graduation.
- Must have completed graduation in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.
Selection procedure
Applicants will be selected through online counseling, online aptitude test and online interviews.

Training
All selected candidates will be trained for six months. Three months of virtual classroom training (accessible from home), another three months of professional practice term training at HCL Technologies. Training is given in Technical, Practical and Personality Development Skills. A fee of Rs 1.5 lakh is payable for this training. Bank loan assistance is provided. Candidates who successfully complete the training will be eligible for a job in HCL with an annual salary of Rs. 2.75 lakhs.
