The Telangana government has announced a special self-employment scheme aimed at unemployed youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the initiative, named "Rajiv Yuva Vikasam", will have a budget of ₹6,000 crore, benefiting 5 lakh youth across the state. Step-by-Step Application Process

Applying for the self-employment scheme is simple. Follow these steps:

Visit the Official Portal – Go to tgobmms.cgg.gov.in.
Click on Rajiv Yuva Vikasam link available on the home page.
In the next page, click on Application Form for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme
Register – Create an account using your aadhar and fill all required fields.
Fill Out the Application Form – Enter your personal, educational, and employment details.
Upload Documents – Submit scanned copies of required certificates.
Submit Your Application – Review all details carefully and apply before the April 5 deadline.

Financial Assistance Up to ₹3 Lakh

Under this scheme, eligible candidates can receive financial aid of up to ₹3 lakh to support their self-employment ventures. 5 lakhs youth will be benefited with this scheme. A total of Rs. 6,000 crore will be allotted to this scheme. The official notification will be released today, and unemployed youth can apply online for the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme.

he district collectors will review and select beneficiaries and sanction letters will be distributed on Telangana Formation Day. The scheme will initially be implemented through SC, ST, BC, and Minority Welfare Corporations, with plans to expand it to other categories in the future.

₹1,560 Crore Allocated for SC & ST Welfare

To promote self-employment opportunities, the Telangana government has formulated a comprehensive action plan with massive financial support:

✔ SC Cooperative Finance Corporation has allocated ₹1,200 crore.
✔ Tribal Cooperative Finance Corporation has set aside ₹360 crore.

Additionally, the SC & ST Welfare Departments have substantial Special Development Funds, enabling the government to extend self-employment benefits to a larger number of beneficiaries.

BC Corporation's Expansion Plan

The government has also approved an action plan for the BC Corporation, ensuring maximum coverage for Backward Classes (BCs).

🔹 Target: To provide self-employment opportunities to 1.5 lakh individuals in the first year.
🔹 Budget: ₹2,000 crore has already been allocated in the state budget to support the initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scheme, applicants must:

Be a permanent resident of Telangana.
Belong to SC, ST, BC, or minority communities.
Be unemployed at the time of application.
Submit valid supporting documents, including Aadhaar, caste certificate, and bank details.
