The state government has reduced the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) fees. Previously, candidates were required to pay ₹1,000 for Paper-1 or Paper-2, but the fee has now been lowered to ₹750.

For candidates appearing for both Paper-1 and Paper-2, the fee has been reduced from ₹2,000 to ₹1,000. Additionally, fee exemptions have been provided for candidates who have previously taken the TET. The Education Department released the TET notification on November 7 at midnight.

TG TET Nov 2024 Highlights:

Fee Reduction: The fee for each paper (Paper 1 or Paper 2) has been reduced from ₹1,000 to ₹750.
Fee Exemptions: Candidates who have previously taken the TET are eligible for fee exemptions.
Exam Pattern: The TET exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, covering various subjects like Child Development, Languages, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must score a minimum of 60% (General Category), 50% (BC), and 40% (SC/ST and other reserved categories).
Exam Dates: The TET exam will be conducted from January 1 to January 20, 2025.
Application Deadline: The online application process is underway and will close on November 20, 2024.
Result Date: The results are expected to be declared on February 5, 2025.

TG TET Nov 2024 Exam Pattern

The TET exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark, covering sections such as Child Development, Language-1, Language-2 (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies, with 30 questions from each section. Eligibility is defined as scoring 60% for general category candidates, 50% for BC candidates, and 40% for SC/ST and other reserved categories.

Exam Schedule: The TET exam is set to be conducted from January 1 to January 20, 2025. Hall tickets will be available for download between December 27, 2024, and January 20, 2025.

Results and Applications: The results will be announced on February 5, 2025. Online applications have already started and will be accepted until November 20, 2024. The TET qualification certificate is valid for life and carries a 20% weightage in teacher recruitment.

After finishing reading, click on fee payment link and pay fee.
Save acknowledgement receipt.
Check your payment status.
After payment confirmation, know your journal number and save.
Register your details and submit application.
Click on print application.
Review and save your application for further reference.

TG DSC 2025 Notification

According to the Telangana government job calendar, the next DSC notification will be released on February 25, 2025, with exams scheduled for April 25, 2025. This upcoming DSC will aim to fill 5,000 teaching positions, with the possibility of increasing this number, as previously mentioned by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.
