Sakshi Education: The Telangana Education Department has officially released the syllabus for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2025. The exams will be conducted from January 1 to January 20, 2025.

Officials confirmed that the syllabus remains unchanged from previous TET examinations.

TG TET 2025 Important Dates

Application Window: Candidates can apply online for TET from December 5 to December 20, 2024.
Exam Dates: The TET exam will take place from January 1 to January 20, 2025.
Frequency: This is the second TET notification for the year, in line with the government's job calendar, which mandates TET exams twice a year.

TG TET Format

The TET will consist of two papers:

Paper 1: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5 (SGT posts).
Paper 2: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8 (School Assistant posts).

Eligibility for TG TET Paper 1:

Candidates must have completed Intermediate/Equivalent with 50% marks, along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or a two-year Diploma in Special Education.

Eligibility for TG TET Paper 2:

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) with 50% marks and a B.Ed./Special B.Ed., or a four-year BA.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
Language Pandit applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in the relevant language, along with a Language Pandit Training Certificate or B.Ed. in the relevant methodology.
