The Telangana Meteorological Department has said that the state will receive heavy rains for the next three days. Apart from that, red alert has also been issued for 11 districts of North Telangana. It is known that the government has declared 3 days holidays for educational institutions in Telangana. From 14th July (Thursday), there is no chance of opening the educational institutions again. In this regard, the education department took a decision to extend the holidays of educational institutes in Telangana as heavy rains will continue for the next three days. The schools will reopen again on Monday (July 18th).

Red alert issued for 11 districts..
Red alert has been issued for 11 districts of North Telangana. The meteorological department has issued a red alert in Asifabad, Manchiryala, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Warangal Urban, Rural, Mahabubabad and Janagama districts.
