10th Class Exam Pattern Remains Unchanged for This Year!
Earlier, on November 28, orders were issued stating that the internal marks system would be removed, and the 10th class exams would be conducted for 100 marks. However, in a revised order issued on Friday, the government has decided to retain the current system for this academic year.
TG 10th Class New Exam Pattern from 2025-26
It has been clarified that the new exam pattern, with no internal marks, will be implemented starting from the 2025–26 academic year. For this year, students will still receive 20 internal marks, and the final exam will be for 80 marks, as it has been in previous years. The revised orders were issued by Burra Venkatesham, the Principal Secretary of the Education Department.

Formative and summative assessments have already been conducted in schools under the current system. Both students and teachers had expressed dissatisfaction with the sudden changes to the exam pattern just two months before the exams. Reports suggest that the Chief Minister's Office also expressed displeasure with the way the changes were handled by the officials, which led to the revision of the orders.
TG 10th Class 2025 Exam Fee Schedule:
- November 19 to December 1: ₹50 late fee
- December 2 to December 11: ₹200 late fee
- December 12 to December 21: ₹500 late fee
