As heavy rains continue in several districts in AP and TN, AP govt. has declared school holiday on October 17th in Chittoor, Tirupati, and Prakasam districts. School officials have decided to close schools to ensure safety. All educational institutions, including government and private schools, will remain closed in these districts on 17th of this month.

However, college administrations have been given safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of students on campus. Many schools are shifting to online classes for higher-grade students, while younger students have been assigned work to complete at home during the closure.
