Heavy Rain Alert: Schools To Be Alert Until Nov 29th!

The Meteorological Department has already issued warnings predicting heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, influenced by a low-pressure system that has formed over the Bay of Bengal. As a result, schools may be closed as a precaution.
Heavy Rain Alert: Schools Alerted For Closure

Due to heavy rainfall, schools are expected to have consecutive holidays. Officials from the Cyclone Warning Center in Visakhapatnam stated that the low-pressure system is likely to intensify into a depression by the 25th of this month. This may lead to moderate to heavy rainfall in several areas on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the weather department.

On the 29th of this month, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts. Meteorologists also suggest that the conditions are favorable for this low-pressure system to strengthen into a cyclone.

In light of these weather predictions, there is a possibility that schools in Andhra Pradesh will be closed as a precautionary measure. Depending on the severity of the weather, schools could remain closed from the 26th to the 29th of this month in the affected areas.

Tamil Nadu Heavy Rains

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for several districts in Tamil Nadu due to a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. The IMD has also warned that this low-pressure area could intensify into Cyclone Fengal, bringing heavy to very heavy rainfall and potentially disrupting normal life. Current weather reports indicate that the heavy rainfall is likely to persist for the next three days, up until November 29.
