Telangana School Academic Calendar 2024-25 Released: Check Examinations Schedule!
Sakshi, Hyderabad: Schools in Telangana will resume on June 12 after the summer vacation. The education department has released the academic calendar for the year 2024-25.
It is known that the schools will resume classes from June 12th. Check below the examinations schedule and holidays list.
Key Highlights of the Telangana 2024-25 Academic Calendar:
- Total School Days: Schools will function for 229 days.
- Start and End Dates: Schools will start on June 12, 2024, and the last working day will be April 24, 2025.
- Summer Vacation: There will be 49 days of summer vacation from April 24, 2025, to June 11, 2025.
- Festive Holidays:
- Dussehra: 13 days from October 13 to 25.
- Christmas: 5 days from December 23 to 27.
- Sankranti: 6 days from January 12 to 17.
Syllabus Completion:
- Class 10: Syllabus will be completed by January 10, 2025, followed by revision classes.
- Classes I to IX: Syllabus will be completed by February 28, 2025.
Telangana 10th Class 2024-25 Examination schedule
- Formative assessment 1: By July 31
- Formative assessment 2: By September 30
- Summative assessment 1: October 21 to 28
- Formative assessment 3: By December 17
- Formative assessment 4: By January 29, 2025, for Class X and February 28, 2025 for Classes I to IX
- Summative assessment 2 (Classes I to IX): April 9 to 19, 2025
- Pre-final for Class X: Before February 28, 2025
Additional Activities: Yoga and Meditation: Daily five-minute sessions will be held for students in government schools.
Examinations: Class 10 Board Exams: Scheduled for March 2025.
