Telangana Education Department has made a significant decision by postponing the annual examinations for classes 1 to 9. The officials of the education department have announced that the SA-2 exams will now be conducted from April 15 to April 22. Subsequently, the results will be declared on April 23. Following this, summer vacations will commence for all government and private schools from April 24 to June 12, providing a 50-day break.
Here are the exam timings:
- Exams for classes 1-7 will be conducted from 9 am to 11:30 am.
- Class 8 exams will be held from 9 am to 11:45 am.
- Class 9 exams will take place from 9 am to 12 noon.

AP Class 1-9 SA 2 Exam Dates 2024
In Andhra Pradesh, similar arrangements have been made for the annual exams of classes 1 to 9. The exams are scheduled to be held from April 6 to April 19, with evaluation taking place from April 19 to April 21. Progress cards will be distributed to students on April 23.
The exam dates for AP are as follows:
- April 6: First Language (Class 1-9)
- April 8: English Part-A (Class 1-5), Second Language (Class 6-9)
- April 10: English Part-B (TOEFL) (Class 1-5), English Part-A (Class 6-9)
- April 12: Maths (Class 1-5), English Part-B (TOEFL) (Class 6-9)
- April 13: EVS (Class 3-5), Maths (Class 6-9)
- April 15: OSSC (Class 3-5), Physical Science (Class 6-9)
- April 16: SLAS-2024 exam (Class 4, select schools)
- April 18: Biological Science (Class 6-9), Social exam (Class 1-9)
The exam timings for classes 1-8 are from 9 am to 12 pm, while for class 9, it is from 9 am to 12:15 pm.
In AP, the last day of holidays for government and private schools is April 23. Summer vacation will begin from April 24 till June 11, with schools resuming on June 12. Secretary of Schools Department Suresh Kumar has issued orders for this schedule, providing schools with a holiday period of approximately 48 days.
