Due to the severe cold wave affecting many parts of India, several states have extended school holidays to ensure the safety of students. Here's a state-wise list of school winter vacations for 2025.
- Jharkhand: Schools closed from January 7 to January 13, 2025.
- Delhi: Government schools closed from January 1 to January 15, 2025.
- Uttar Pradesh:
- Kasturba Gandhi Residential Schools: Closed until January 10, 2025.
- Secondary Schools (Classes 6-8): Extended holidays, reopening dates to be announced.
- Noida Schools (Nursery to Class 8): Closed until further notice.
- Bihar: Schools for Classes up to 8 closed until January 11, 2025.
- Haryana: All schools closed from January 1 to January 15, 2025.
- Punjab: Schools will reopen on January 7, 2025.
