As per GOMSNo37 released by the Telangana Govt, fee for 159 private engineering colleges has been fixed, and tuition fee of 5000 USD per annum has been fixed for NRI quota seats.

It also read that an extra amount of Rs.3000 shall be collected by the colleges, which has NBA accreditation. Rs. 2000 shall be collected by the institution as one time admission fee. Rs. 1000 per annum shall be collected from each student for the special services rendered by the colleges, Rs. 1500 per annum for the commons services rendered by the university, Rs. 500 for library deposit and Rs. 500 for laboratory deposit.

The engineering college fee in 40 colleges across the state crossed Rs. one lakh. MGIT Rs.1.60 lakhs, CVR Rs.1.50 lakhs, CBIT, Vardhaman, Vasavi Rs.1.40 lakhs. The government has said that the new engineering fees will be in force for three years. Besides, the government has also increased the fees of MBA, MCA, MTech. MBA, MCA courses' minimum annual fee to Rs. 27 thousand. M.Tech minimum annual fee was increased to Rs. 57 thousand.
