Telangana government has finalized the fees in engineering colleges. The Telangana government on Wednesday issued an order finalizing the fees in 159 colleges as per the recommendations of the Admission and Fees Control Committee (AFRC). Similarly, a decision has been taken to increase the minimum fee in engineering colleges to Rs.45 thousand.

On the other hand, the engineering fee in 40 colleges across the state crossed Rs. one lakh. MGIT Rs.1.60 lakhs, CVR Rs.1.50 lakhs, CBIT, Vardhaman, Vasavi Rs.1.40 lakhs. The government has said that the new engineering fees will be in force for three years. Besides, the government has also increased the fees of MBA, MCA, MTech. MBA, MCA courses' minimum annual fee to Rs. 27 thousand. M.Tech minimum annual fee was increased to Rs. 57 thousand.
