UGC: Degree courses in mother tongue!

The University Grants Commission has decided to allow BA, B.Com and B.Sc courses in the mother tongue.

UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar said that the exercise has started to allow BA, B.Com and B.Sc courses in the mother tongue. He said that arrangements are being made to translate the degree books in English into 12 languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Odia, Tamil and Telugu.

Union Ministry of Education has started the process of translation in different languages. As part of the National Education Policy-2020, many changes are being made at the degree level. Many books have already been translated into mother tongues.
