Telangana Govt. Clarifies on Dussehra Holidays 2022
The education department has announced that the Dussehra holidays will continue from September 26 to October 9. It said that schools will reopen on October 10.
It is known that the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) proposed to the state government to shorten the Dussehra holidays for the welfare of the students. In this regard, SCERT Director Radhareddy wrote a letter to the Director of School Education on Tuesday. Earlier, due to the heavy rains in July, holidays were given 11 to 16 days.
The main reason for proposing shortening the holidays is the delay in the completion of the syllabus for the students of the respective classes. It is known that due to heavy rains last month, holidays were given to educational institutions for 3 days.
Dussehra vacations for school students in Andhra Pradesh will begin from September 26. The government has declared Dussehra holidays till October 6. Holidays were given to Christian and minority schools from October 1 to 6. Schools will resume from 7th.
220 working days and 80 holidays have been declared for schools in this academic year. AP State Educational Research Training Council Academic Calendar (2022-23) has given information about Dussehra holidays earlier. The AP Education Department has announced Dussehra holidays accordingly.
