AP 10th Class 2022-23 Blue Print and Model Question Papers; Check Chapter-wise Weightage

AP Board of Secondary Education has released tenth class 2022-23 blue print and model papers.

In Andhra Pradesh, from the academic year 2022-23, the tenth class public examinations will be conducted in six papers. Along with the subject wise model papers for these six papers, the school education department has also released a blueprint. Students can check this blue print and know the chapter-wise weightage for all the subjects.

Only 6 Papers in Tenth Class 2022-23 Exams 

The 10th Public Examinations consisted of 11 papers before Covid-19 and now it has been reduced to six. Earlier when the system of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) was not in place, Tenth Public Examination was held in 11 papers. Before those exams, four unit tests and two term tests were conducted. Although the CCE policy was first implemented up to 8th standard, then it was applied to 9th and 10th standard. In the CCE system, four formative exams and two summative exams were conducted for the students. Besides, CCE system was implemented with various projects and other programs.

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has submitted a report to the School Education Department that there is no need for more rigorous testing of students in public examinations. In order to reduce the exam pressure on the students, CBSE has reported that it is conducting the 10th public exams in six papers. Following this, it is said that it will be enough if it is conducted in six or seven papers in the state as well. With this, the government has ordered the school education department to conduct the 10th public examinations in six papers only.
