The 10th class pass marks for students with disabilities in the categories of "Mental Behaviour / Mental Illness" (SM) and "Intellectual Disability" (Cl) have been significantly reduced to improve accessibility and success rates among these students.

Key Provisions for CWSN Students in SSC 10th Class Public Examinations 2025

Mental Behaviour SM (13) Mental Illness 1. Pass Marks reduced from 35 to 10 in all subjects.
2. For valuation purposes, grammatical mistakes, punctuation errors, graphs, geometry, and maps will be ignored.
3. Use of suitable assistive devices is permitted.
4. Scribe assistance is allowed.
Intellectual Disability Cl (22) Intellectual Disability 1. Pass Marks reduced from 35 to 10 in all subjects.
2. For valuation purposes, grammatical mistakes, punctuation errors, graphs, geometry, and maps will be ignored.
3. Use of suitable assistive devices is permitted.
4. Scribe assistance is allowed.

Also, Check: AP 10th Class 2025 Exam Fee Dates:

  • Students can pay without late fee from October 28 to November 11
  • late fee of ₹50 until November 18,
  • With late fee of ₹200 until November 25,
  • and with late fee of ₹500 until November 30.

Implementation Instructions for Educational Authorities

The directive requires the following officials and entities to take appropriate actions:

  1. District Educational Officers (DEOs)
  2. District School Educational Officers
  3. Assistant Commissioners for Government Examinations (ACGEs)

These officials must recognize students from SM and Cl disability categories as equivalent, accepting both SADAREM and other authorized disability certificates for eligibility. Additionally, for SSC Nominal Roll and Application purposes, ACGEs are instructed not to alter or reject the disability codes specified by Headmasters (HMs) or candidates in these two disability categories.
