This TSPSC Group-2 written exam will be held on August 29 and 30. 5,51,943 candidates are competing for 783 posts. The competition for Group-2 exam will be very high.

Examinations for all 4 papers will be held on August 29 and 30. Each paper will have 150 multiple choice questions and four papers of 150 marks for a total of 600 marks. No negative marks for group-2 exam. Hall tickets will be released a week before the exams.

350 Group-2 posts are for women
Women have been given top priority in this group-2 notification. While 783 posts are to be filled in 18 departments, 350 posts are reserved for women. There are 433 posts in the general category at the rate of 55.31 percent. If you look at the posts in both the departments, not a single one is in the general category. If there are nine posts of Assistant Labor Officer under the Labor Department, all these have been allotted to women.

Two Assistant Section Officer posts in the Election Commission have come under women's quota as per the roster. Of the 59 Assistant Commercial Tax Officer posts, almost half are reserved for women. Of the 98 posts of Naib Tehsildar in the Revenue Department, 53 are for women. Similarly, in some departments, more than half of the posts are reserved for women.
