TGPSC Group-2 Exams as per Schedule: Check Last Minute Instructions Here

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has ruled that the Group-2 exams scheduled for the 15th and 16th of this month will proceed as planned. The court stated that all necessary arrangements for the exams have already been completed, making it inappropriate to issue a stay at this stage.

The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has been instructed to conduct the exams as scheduled, and the next hearing on the matter has been adjourned to February 6.

Petition for Postponement Rejected

A petition was filed by 22 individuals, including Ravula Jyothi from Dampllapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, seeking a postponement of Paper-3 and Paper-4 of the Group-2 exams on the 16th, citing a clash with the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exams on the 16th and 18th. Despite submitting a representation to TSPSC on November 25, the petitioners moved to the High Court after receiving no response.

During the hearing, the TSPSC's counsel informed the court that around 5.51 lakh candidates had applied for the Group-2 exams, and all arrangements for conducting the exams had been finalized. They argued that postponing the exams for a few petitioners would inconvenience a large number of candidates. Taking these arguments into account, Justice Pullakarthik ruled that the exams cannot be halted at this stage. The court issued notices to the state government’s General Administration Department (GAD), TSPSC, and RRB.
