TSPSC said that 80 percent of the candidates appeared for these examinations which were held in two sessions, morning and afternoon. A total of 9,51,205 candidates have applied for both the exams out of which 9,12,380 candidates have downloaded the hall tickets from the TSPSC website.

According to the preliminary statistics released by TSPSC, 7,62,872 candidates appeared for the Paper-1 examination held from 10 am to 12:30 pm. 7,61,198 candidates appeared for the paper-2 exam which was held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

TSPSC Group-4 Question Paper Analysis:
Candidates stated that the questions in Paper-1 (General Studies) and Paper-2 (Secretarial Abilities) exams were moderate. They said that in paper-1 mostly direct questions and application type questions came and in paper-2 it took more time to answer the questions from mathematics. They said that it took more than a minute to answer questions with graphs and charts. It is known that the candidates were a bit confused as most of the questions came from the numbering system.

Paper-1 has questions on international, national and state current affairs. Questions were asked on Socio-Economic Report, National Health Survey like -

- Which international media company came forward to set up IDC in Hyderabad?
Questions were also asked on the decisions taken by the Telangana Council of Ministers last March. Many candidates said that paper-1 question paper was moderate and time was not enough for questions in paper-2. They said that it took a long time to figure out the answers to the questions on reasoning and mathematical abilities.
A question from Balagam, which was recently released and got great success, was also asked in this exam. Around 29 questions were asked mostly on current affairs.
