Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group-1 Prelims Exam has been conducted on 16th October (Sunday). 75 percent candidates appeared for this exam. The examination was conducted from 10:30 am to 1 pm in 1,019 examination centers across the state. It is known that TSPSC has issued a notification at the end of April for filling up 503 posts in Group-1 category in various government departments of Telangana.

A total of 3,80,081 candidates applied for the exam out of which 2,86,051 appeared. Subject experts are of the opinon that this time Group-1 Prelims question paper is very tough. Also, many candidates expressed their concern that the questions were tough like civils. Candidates are worried that the questions in prelims are tough and are mostly analytical, statement based, with long analysis.

Most of the questions came from Current Affairs, Science and Technology, Mental Ability, Logical Thinking category. Each question has only one minute to find the answers. However, due to the difficulty of the questions, the minute time was not enough and there were more questions that took a long time. There are only a small number of direct questions.
