TGPSC Group-1 Results 2024 Expected Soon: Check Details

Sakshi Education: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) recently conducted the Group-1 Mains exams, and the results are expected to be released soon in a week or two. Preparations for the announcement are currently underway.

The TGPSC had issued a notification to fill 563 Group-1 posts across various state government departments, conducting both prelims and mains exams as part of the recruitment process. With no interviews involved, the marks obtained in the written exam will play a crucial role in the final selection.

Competition Overview

• Total Candidates Eligible for Mains: 31,383
• Special Permission Candidates (Sports Quota): 20 (granted by the court)
• Actual Attendance in Mains: 21,093 (67.17%)
• Competition per Post: Approximately 37 candidates vying for each position.

Good News for Future Aspirants

After the results are declared, TGPSC is expected to announce another Group-1 notification later this year, likely in April 2025. TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham confirmed that notifications for Group-1, Group-2, and Group-3 will be released, providing more opportunities for aspirants preparing for government jobs in Telangana.
