TGPSC Group 1 Revaluation: Telangana High Court Issues Notice After Aspirants File Petition

Allegations of Irregularities in the Evaluation Process
The petitioners highlighted multiple irregularities in the TGPSC Group-1 Mains evaluation. They pointed out that although the exam was conducted in three languages, the evaluation was carried out by experts in only one medium, resulting in an unfair assessment for Telugu medium candidates.
Additionally, the petitioners claimed that out of 18 subjects, only 12 were evaluated by experts, and the evaluation process lacked involvement from subject-specific experts. This, they argued, compromised the quality and accuracy of the evaluation.
High Court Issues Notice to TSPSC
After reviewing the petition, the Telangana High Court issued notices to TSPSC, directing them to submit a counter affidavit within four weeks. The court has also adjourned the hearing for four weeks, offering a glimmer of hope for the aspirants.
This development has brought some relief to the Group-1 aspirants, who have been raising concerns about discrepancies in the evaluation process. TSPSC had conducted the Group-1 examination to fill several prestigious positions, including Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and Commercial Tax Officer.
