TSPSC Group-1 Prelims 2022 Question Paper On Par With Civils Standards

75% appeared for the Group 1 preliminary exam 2022 held on October 16th in the Telangana state. While 3,80,082 people applied for 503 posts, 2,86,051 people wrote the exam.

The subject experts opined that the TSPSC group-1 prelims 2022 exam was on par with the UPSC civil services standards. The questions were very tough and most of the questions standards were raised when compared to that of previous years.

Questions Break-up

The experts said that there were 16 questions from Telangana history and culture and five questions about Telangana policies. 16 from Geography, 9 from Indian History, 16 from Indian Governance and Polity, 15 from Current Affairs, 22 from Science and Technology and 7 from International Relations.

Most of the questions were time-consuming analytical questions. The candidates who appeared for the 1st time for Group-1 exam did not have have enough time to answer all 150 questions. The experts also said that the cutoff marks for selcetion into main exam may not exceed 75-85 marks.

TSPSC officials announced that the scanning process of OMR sheets will be completed in 8 days and only after that the preliminary key will be released. It is known that 2022 Group-1 exam is the 1st exam to be conducted after TRS govt. cam into the power.

Less than 70% attendance was recorded in Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal districts under Greater Hyderabad. Nagar Kurnool district had the highest attendance of 85.60% candidates while Rangareddy district has the lowest attendance of 67.24%. However, the OMR copy was not handed over to the candidates this time.
