What is AICTE-VAANI Scheme?
The AICTE-VAANI scheme, first launched on March 11, 2024, promotes research and innovation in technical education by encouraging the publication of research papers in regional languages. The second edition of the scheme aims to foster collaboration between academic institutions and industries while enhancing knowledge dissemination in local languages.

AICTE Chairperson, Prof. TG Sitharam, emphasized that VAANI seeks to build a strong knowledge base in regional languages and make cutting-edge technological developments accessible to a broader audience. AICTE Vice Chairman, Dr. Abhay Jere, highlighted the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving, regardless of the language of instruction.
