The AICTE YASHASVI Scheme (Young Achievers Scholarship and Holistic Academic Skills Venture Initiative) is an initiative by the All-India Council for Technical Education aimed at promoting technical education in core engineering fields. Launched for the academic year 2024-25, the scheme offers 5,200 scholarships annually to meritorious students pursuing engineering and diploma programs in AICTE-approved institutions

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025

Scholarship Objective: 
Motivate students to pursue engineering education at Diploma and UG level in core branches.

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 - Number of Scholarships: 

A total of 5,200 scholarships per year (2,593 for degree and 2,607 for diploma)

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 - Scholarship Amount: 

• Degree Level: Rs.50,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years (1st year) or 3 years (lateral entry).
• Diploma Level: Rs.30,000 per year for a maximum of 3 years (1st year) or 2 years (lateral entry).

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 - Eligibility: 

• Students admitted to the first year of a degree/ diploma program in core engineering at an AICTE approved institution.
• OR Second-year students admitted through lateral entry.
• Family income should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh per annum.

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 - Selection Criteria

• Based on merit in qualifying exams (12th for degree, 10th for diploma)
• Reservation for government norms
• Renewal
• Requires passing certificate, mark sheet, and a letter from the institute head
• Students failing to progress to the next year lose the scholarship.

AICTE Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme 2025 - Terms and Conditions

• Gap between qualifying exam and admission should not exceed two years.
• Incomplete applications or students who shift branches are ineligible.
• The scholarship cannot be combined with other financial aid.
