Four new technologies have been developed to blur the edge between online and off-it’s wireless communication made easy. These technologies include the Snapdragon 1GHz processor, Gobi universal wireless platform, mirasol display technology and Google’s Android, a mobile open-source software platform.
Mobile Commerce
Taking the lead in mobile commerce is a mandate for Qualcomm, they have developed two unique mobile commerce technologies that allow users to mind their business in the safest way possible: Firethorn mobile banking and SecureMSM
Mobile Enterprise
They have come up with three mobile enterprise technologies that allow users to work no matter where they are. They include Global Smart Services, Omnivision and MobileView.
Location-Based Services'
AMBER Alert, QPoint, GPSOne and inGeo are four technologies they have created to assist users with location-based needs.
