Ashrith Shakamuri Success Story, Who Secured AIR-40 in Civils 2022 in 1st Attempt!

Ashrith Shakamuri aged 22 years from Warangal secured AIR 40 in Civils 2022 final result, in the first attempt. He has a B.Tech degree from BITS-Pilani.

His parents said that they only gave him moral support. They attributed all the credit to Ashrith's hard work and his mentor Balalatha madam.

Here is the success journey of Ashrith in his words -

I started preparing for civil services soon after completing B.tech civil engineering. I started my preparation from from May 2021. But, I did my basic ground work for preparation - like syllabus, pattern etc. 3 months earlier.
Any degree will help you in one or the other way. I was about civil engineering in interview, which was my degree branch.
I didn't expect a rank in the 1st attempt. The factors like luck, support from parents, people around me etc. helpmed to clear civils in 1st attempt.
I studied for 6-8 hrs/day on an average. During some days I even studied for 15-16 hrs a day and increased time when the exam was approaching.
I sacrificed meeting my friends, but I always had monetary support from my parents.
Civil services provides opportunities to serve the society. So, I had interest for preparing civil services from starting.
Difficulty level and competition is very high. A blind person from Tamil Nadu succeeded in clearing Civils. I got inspired from so many such people. Balalatha Madam gave me moral support.
My optional subject is Anthropology. Presentation is very important, and optional subject also plays an important role.
I would like to follow a few principles like Jayaprakash Narayan garu did.
Follow a single standard book and reading it repeatedly helped me a lot.
