Webinar on Growth Prospects in Management for Dentists

Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao Centre for Healthcare Management  Post Graduate Diploma in Management ( Hospital Management), the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) successfully conducted a webinar titled "Growth Prospects in Management for Dentists." The event was held on June 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and saw enthusiastic participation from dental students and faculty members across India.

Moderator: 
Dr. Reshma M. Gopan, BDS, MHA, Assistant Professor at ASCI and an alumna of the PGDM (Hospital Management) program, skillfully moderated the session.

Guest Speaker:  
Dr. M. Isaac Soumil, BDS, PGDM (HM), Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Kamineni Hospital, King Koti, Hyderabad, and a distinguished alumnus of the ASCI PGDM (Hospital Management) program. Dr. Soumil shared valuable insights on the learning and practical experiences within the hospital industry and discussed career perspectives for dentists, highlighting the journey from various positions up to COO.

Overview of ASCI PGDM (Hospital Management): 
Dr. P. M. Priyadarshini provided a comprehensive overview of the ASCI PGDM (Hospital Management) program to raise awareness among students about the opportunities and benefits of pursuing the course.

UOH Guest Faculty (Psychology) Notification 2024

Guest Speaker:
Dr. Sumalatha, BDS, PGDCE, M.Sc. in Psychology, Medico-Legal Consultant, and Dental Surgeon, who is also a recipient of seven Gold Medals and twice awarded by the IDA, addressed the attendees. She emphasized the various avenues and opportunities available for dentists to achieve through management as entrepreneurs and shared few successful examples from the industry as well as her own passion in running her business.

The webinar concluded with a vibrant Q&A session, allowing participants to interact with the speakers and gain further clarity on career growth in healthcare management for dentists.
