AP SCT SI of Police Final Exam on October 14 and 15: Check Practice Questions Here

The preliminary test for recruitment of AP SI Civil (Men and Women), RSI (Men) in APSP was conducted on Feb 19th. 57923 candidates were qualified for next physical events. The PMT/PET were started on August 25th and will end on Sep 25th.

Candidates who qualify in the AP SI of Police Physical Efficiency Test shall be required to appear for the Final Written Examination in four papers (each of three hours duration) as given below.

AP SI of Police Final Exam Pattern 2023:

  • Paper I English (Descriptive Type) (Degree Standard): 100 Marks
  • Paper II Telugu or URDU (Descriptive Type) (Degree Standard): 100 Marks
  • Paper III Arithmetic (SSC Standard) and Test of Reasoning / Mental  (Objective Type) (200 questions): 200 Marks (Post code No 11) and 100 Marks (Post code No 13) 
  • Paper IV General Studies (Objective Type) (Degree Standard) (200 questions): 200 (Post code No 11) and 100 Marks (Post code No 13) 

The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the written examination in each of the four papers is 40% lot OCs (including those claiming EWS reservation); 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs/STs and Ex. Servicemen.

Papers I and II are only qualifying in nature.  The marks secured in these papers i.e., papers I and II will not be taken into account for final selection. Questions in Papers III and IV will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. The candidates can choose to have the question papers in one of the three languages and should indicate his / her choice as and when asked for by the recruiting authority. 

The final selection will be made strictly on relative merit of the candidates in each category, as obtained by them based on their
score in the Final Written Examination (papers III and IV).

AP SI of Police Final Exam Syllabus:

Paper-I English: 
The candidate's understanding of the English language, its correct usage and his writing ability would be tested. Questions on short essay, comprehension, precis, letter writing, paragraph writing / report writing& translation from English to Telugu etc. would be included.

Paper-II TELUGU (DEGREE STANDARD) (DESCRIFTIVE TYPE)
The candidate's understanding of the Telugu language, its correct usage and his writing ability would be tested. Questions on short essay, comprehension precis, letter writing, paragraph writing / report writing, translation from Telugu to English etc. would be included.

Paper-III: ARITHMETIC (SSC STANDARD) & TEST OF REASONING, MENTAL ABILITY (OBTECTIVE TYPB (2OO QUESTIONS)

Arithmetic: It will include questions on problems relating to number system, simple interest, compound interest, ratio & proportion, average, percentage, profit & loss, time & work, work & wages, time & distance, clocks & calendars, partnership, mensuration etc.

Test of Reasoning: It will include questions of both verbal & non-verba, type and include question on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory etc.

Paper-IV: GENERAL STUDIES (DEGREE STANDARD) (OBTECTIVE TYPE) (200 Questions)
1. General Science - contemporary developments in science and technology and their implications including matters of everyday observation and experience, contemporary issues relating to protection of environment as may be expected of a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.
2. Current events of national and Interational importance.
3. History of lndia - emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, cultural and political aspects. Indian National Movement.
4. Geography of lndia
5. Indian Polity and Economy - including the country's political system, rural development, planning and economic reforms in India.
