Consequent to raising of upper age limit by 2 years for the ongoing recruitment of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (SCT PCs) (Civil/ APSP) of General Administration Department., issued by the State Level Police Recruitment Board has raised upper age limit.

As per amendment, a person who is a local to Andhra Pradesh State and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department as on the date of notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of two years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 34 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 2004.

It also stated that all other candidates, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 26 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 2004. i. 2.
As the age limit has been raised, the last date for receipt of the Online Application Form for the post of SCT PCs (Civil) (Men & Women) and SCT PCs (APSP) (Men) is extended from 05.00 PM on 28.12.2022 to 05.00 PM on 07.01.2023. However, the last date for AP SI posts remains same i.e., January 18, 2023.
