1,51,243 candidates appeared for the preliminary written test in 292 centers in 13 cities and towns across the state to fill up a total of 411 SI posts. Paper-1 exam was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm and Paper-2 exam from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The preliminary examination 'primary key' was released on February 20 at 11 am.

If there are objections on the 'primary key', they can be informed by mail before 11 am on February 23. The objections should be mailed to them in the prescribed format embedded in the website slprb.ap.gov.in. The Police Recruitment Board said that the results of the preliminary examination will be declared in two weeks and the scanned copies of the answer sheets of the candidates will also be made available on the website.
