AP SI Selection Procedure:
Preliminary Written Test: Two papers (each of three hours duration). The candidate needs to qualify in each of the two papers.

Events for Physical Efficiency Test:
CIVIL Sub Inspectors:
- 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and
- One out of the two events of 100 meters run or long jump.
These will be qualifying in nature.
APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors:
Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency Test:
- 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run)
- 100 meters run
- Long jump.
Marks will be given. Details available in notification
Final Written Examination: Four papers (each of three hours duration)

Final Selection:
- Civil Sub Inspectors: Paper I and II are qualifying in nature. Paper III consisting of 200 marks and paper IV consisting of 200 marks, Total 400 marks, will be taken into account for final selection.
- APSP Reserve Sub-Inspectors: Paper I and II are qualifying in nature. (Paper-III-100 Marks, Paper-IV-100 Marks, Total 200 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks), totalling to 300 marks. Final selection will be made.

- Period of download of Hall Ticket: February 05, 2023 to date of Preliminary written test.
- Date of Preliminary Written Test: February 19, 2023 (Paper-I at 10 AM to 01.00 PM and Paper-II at 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM)
