Admission Requirements Visa Information to study in Cyprus


Academic Eligibility:
Undergraduate programs: Equivalent qualification of twelve years schooling at Cyprus.
Postgraduate programs: Equivalent qualification of undergraduate First stage (Bachelor degree).

  • English proficiency: English proficiency test scores. IELTS or TOEFL.
  • Non-Criminal Record Certificate: Non-Criminal Record Certificate from Local police or Ministry of Home Affairs is required and it should be less than 6 months before the classes started.
  • Statement of financial resources: Photocopy of attested Bank Letter for sufficient funds to student stay and studies in Cyprus and it should be less than 6 months before the classes started.
  • Photographs and Photocopy of Passport
  • Photocopy of Medical Examinations report issued no more than 6 months before the date classes commence which proves that the student is free from HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis and Tuberculosis may be required.
Note: A strong academic record is required to get admission in indented program.

Limited Financial Aids are available at universities/colleges.

Depend upon number of courses (credits) a student enroll in each semester tuition fee will be allotted

Bachelor Degree Programs (Business, Computers etc): CYP 3,540
Master Degree Programs (Per Course); CYP 375 depend upon course cost varies.

Scholarship
Cyprus caution scholarship to students depend upon their academics performance may increase the percentage in cases of amazing academic performance.

On campus accommodation: On campus accommodation is available generally for students.

Cyprus offers range of accommodation from Halls of Residence to Student Apartments Living in Halls of Resident Apartments is one of the best ways to get know people when you first come to Nicosia.

On Campus Residence Hall: On-campus accommodation is the best way to communicate with other students and easy access to classrooms and other college facilities. It has fully furnished double and single rooms with many facilities. The Residence Hall has kitchen and laundry facilities, a TV room, a Recreational Area and a bank outlet. Students need only bring personal items such as pillows, sheets and quilts.

Off-campus accommodation
Students who don’t want university accommodation/facilities can approach Office of Student Affairs for private apartments nearby universities and provide privacy and independence to students. Each apartment has its own living and dining area, kitchen, and bathroom with other usual facilities. All apartments have controlled heating and air conditioning units.
Cost range: €400 to €500 per month

Visa Information for Cyprus
An International student who has been accepted at Cyprus will need an entry visa to Cyprus. Especially students from China, India, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh will need to apply for a student visa from the Cyprus Embassy/Consulate from their own country.

General Requirements for Visa:
  • Acceptance letterform from University/Institute
  • At least 2 to 3 months before beginning of the Semester students are advice to apply for visa process as it takes time up to 1 month.
  • Passport with at least 1 year validity with Photocopies
  • One completely filled Application form.
  • Attested original academic certificates
  • 4 Passport sized photographs
  • Student has to show proof of financial support that can meet both costs of living and fees while studying in Cyprus
  • Certificate of Good conduct from police department in Applicant's home country or country of residence issued not before 6 months
  • Fee (payable by cash or postal order only, subject to rate of exchange). For students, a letter from the applicant's place of education is required.
Work permit/part time job
  • Employment during periods of study is not allowed for international students except European countries.
