New Rules for Student Visa... Students Seeking Admission in US Must Know These!!
All applicants holding F, M, and J student visas must input their own passport details when creating a profile and scheduling their visa appointment. Individuals using an incorrect passport number for profile creation or appointment booking will not be accommodated at the Visa Application Centers (VAC). Consequently, their appointments will be invalidated, and the visa fee will be forfeited.

Applicants who have mistakenly utilized an incorrect passport number for profile creation or appointment booking must rectify the situation. They can either generate a new profile with the accurate passport information or access an existing profile with the correct passport details to schedule an appointment. It's important to note that if the previous receipt is associated with a profile containing inaccurate passport information, a new visa fee receipt must be obtained.
Applicants who have recently renewed their passport or acquired a new one due to loss or theft of the old passport can present a photocopy or other evidence of the old passport number. In such cases, they will be permitted to proceed with their scheduled appointment.
