- Class 1: Online registration starts April 1st and ends April 15th through a new website for all 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools (https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in/).
- Class 11: Registration begins ten days after the Class 10 board exam results are declared.
- Classes 2-10: Offline registration (existing schedule applies).
Selection Lists:
- Class 1: Three lists will be released - April 19th, April 29th, and May 8th.
- Classes 2-11: Selection list will be available on April 15th.
Admission Process:
- Newly Established Schools: Class 1 admissions through OLA portal, others offline.
- Classes 2 and above: Admissions continue until April 29th, with a final deadline of June 29th.
Eligibility:
- Class 1: Minimum age 6 years (as of March 31st, 2024) and maximum 8 years. Relaxation of 2 years for children with special needs (CWSN).
- Class 11 & 12: No age limit, but admission must be in the year of passing Class 10 (for Class 11) and with no breaks in studies after Class 11 (for Class 12).
