Revised Schedule for KVS Admission 2025
According to the latest notification, the draw of lots for Balvatika 1 and 3 (where applicable) will now take place on March 28, 2025, instead of the previously announced date of March 26, 2025. To ensure a smooth process, the draw will be conducted at different time slots across regions:
- Delhi, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Raipur: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Dehradun: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Agra, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Ranchi: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Chandigarh, Ernakulam, Gurugram, Jaipur: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
- Chennai, Jabalpur, Jammu, Lucknow, Patna: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
KVS Admission 2025: Age Criteria
To be eligible for admission, students must meet the following age requirements:
- Balvatika 1: Minimum 3 years, Maximum 4 years
- Balvatika 2: Minimum 4 years, Maximum 5 years
- Balvatika 3: Minimum 5 years, Maximum 6 years
- Class 1: Minimum 6 years, Maximum 8 years
Required Documents for KVS Admission 2025
Applicants need to upload the following documents during the online application process:
- Valid Indian mobile number and email ID
- Digital or scanned photo of the child (JPEG file, max size 256KB)
- Scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate and address proof (JPEG or PDF file)
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) if applicable (JPEG or PDF file)
- EWS certificate for applicants under the Economically Weaker Section
- Transfer certificate details of parents/grandparents for job-related applications
