Admission Process Entrance Exam: Candidates must pass the TIFR Entrance Exam, which is followed by an on-campus interview. Streams: The entrance exam is offered in two streams:
Computer Science: Focuses on theoretical aspects of the undergraduate CS curriculum.
Learning, Information, and Data Sciences: Suitable for students with backgrounds in ECE/EE/Math/Statistics and related fields.
Academic Structure
Coursework and Research: The PhD program includes foundational coursework and original research leading to a thesis.
Subject Boards: Each subject has a dedicated board responsible for specifying academic requirements, conducting exams, and overseeing the assignment of research supervisors.
