67th National Film Awards announced; Check complete list here

  • The 2021 winners of the 67th National Film Awards were announced on March 22, 2021. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the award ceremony was postponed for a year.
  • The National Film Awards ceremony will be on May 3 every year. However, the award ceremony was not held in 2020. The winners were announced in a press conference at the National Media Center located in New Delhi on 22nd March.
  • In 2021, there are 461 movies in the feature film category and 220 movies in the non-feature film category. Entries came from the 13 states that most liked movies.
  • The National Film Awards recognize outstanding achievements in the film industry. The ceremony is held once a year.
  • In 2019, the 66th National Film Awards was organized. In the 66th edition, the film "Uri: The Surgical Strike" won four awards.
