Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the G20 Extraordinary Leaders’ Summit on Afghanistan in virtual format today. The summit has been convened by Italy, the current chair of the G20 that comprises 20 of the world's major economies.

The agenda of the meeting will include a discussion on response to humanitarian needs and access to basic services and livelihood. Security and the fight against terrorism, mobility, migration and human rights will also be discussed.
