India agrees to $200 mn LoC to support Kyrgyzstan

According to External Affairs Minister (EAM), S Jaishankar, India has agreed on USD 200 million Line of Credit support for the developmental projects in Kyrgyzstan.

This line of credit was agreed upon after meeting between EAM S. Jaishankar and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev in Bishkek.
Kazakhstan is the current Chair and initiator of CICA Forum.
Jaishankar is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileuberdi.
During the meeting, Jaishankar also discussed the need of early travel of Indian students and liberal visa regime between both the countries.
