State IT and Industries Minister KTR responded to the Nizam College undergraduate students' hostel allotment issue.
KTR responded to the UG students peaceful protest through a tweet. He asked the state education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy to intervene in this matter and solve the problem immediately. KTR said that even after constructing the hostel and giving it to the college, this dispute is unnecessary. He also advised the Nizam college principal to put an end to the issue immediately.

It is known that Nizam college UG students went on a peaceful protest in the college premises as the hostel allotment was pending since March 2022. The new hostel was constructed in March, but students were not alloted any room. As a result, the students had to stay in private hostels.
