The Telangana School Education Department has clarified that the 10th class exams will be conducted with six papers instead of 11 papers in 2023. It said that the exams of other classes will also be conducted with six papers.

In this regard, Telangana Director of School Education has issued an order. The district education officials were ordered to make arrangements accordingly. In the wake of Corona, the state government has reduced the tenth class exam papers from 11 to 6 for the academic year 2020-21. But due to the severity of Corona, the exams were canceled that year. And in the academic year 2021-22, the examination was conducted with 6 papers in the same manner.

Instead of Paper-1 and Paper-2 in each subject, a single paper of 80 marks is given. The marks secured by the students in the internals are added to the remaining 20 marks. Recently, the government has decided to continue the same policy in the academic year 2022-23. Summative Assessment-1 examinations to be held from November 1.
