The Telangana government has granted permission for the recruitment of 3035 positions in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC).

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar expressed his happiness over this decision, stating that the recruitment would strengthen the RTC with new talent.

25 depot managers/assistant traffic managers
23 assistant engineers (civil)
15 assistant mechanical engineers

7 medical officers (specialists)

Minister Prabhakar thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for approving the recruitment. He highlighted that this is the first job notification in TGSRTC since the formation of Telangana and emphasized the government's commitment to improving public transportation by filling these positions.

He mentioned that the new recruits would further strengthen the public transportation system in the state. Additionally, he noted that new buses are being purchased to meet the increased demand under the Mahalakshmi scheme, and the recruitment aligns with these new acquisitions. The minister assured that the 3035 positions would be filled as soon as possible.
